So, as indicated in previous post, a new updated build with some bug fixes, AI changes, combat changes, audio, and quality of life changes.
Here is a almost complete list of everything changed:
- Major rework of shading, environment and characters are significantly lighter, and shadows are darker
- Lots of small changes to the AI, now porperly responds to seeing the player, instead of acting on last giving visual or auditory stimuli, hearing perception has been fixed (no more walking behind someone without them noticing, gotta sneak yo)
- Audio for all buttons
- Background audio (incomplete, audio for final scene missing, for some reason it does not want to package with html5 build)
- Audio for getting hurt, and visual for getting hurt made clearer
- Extra visual indicators for the "gateways" between areas
- Entering an area for the first time will play a cinematic, showing the key item and a bird's eye view of the area
- Optimized a few small particles
- Townsfolk will now drop random item from pre-selected table of items on death
- Auto health regeneration will not recover above 3 HP
- Attacking townsfolk will now recover 1 HP for every 1 damage dealt
- And many more small changes
